While there was tons of excitement when the LG G2 was introduced last week one thing that wasn't clear was just when we could expect LG's new superphone to become available.  Well we've got some clarity now.  First up will be big red, Verizon which will launch the G2 for $199 on a 2 year contract on September 12th.  Continuing the party we've got AT&T which will launch its version on September 13th, also at $199 on a 2 yr contract.  Finally, T-Mobile will have their model available on September 18th online and the 25th in stores and yep...you guessed it...$199 on a 2 yr contract. LG has issues a press release officially confirming that the US and Germany will be the first two markets to receive their new G2 phone.  While no carrier dates have been announced, all four major carriers in the US have also confirmed they will be carrying the new Snapdragon 800 powered LG flagship.  Featuring at 13mp OIS camera capable of filming 1080p video in 60 fps with 24bit/192kHz Hi-Fi audio, the G2 is an audio/video dynamo.  It also has several innovative software features including 'Answer Me', 'Plug & Pop', 'QuickRemote', 'Guest Mode' as well as many more. Can you think of a better way to show off the new Optical Image Stabilizer in the new LG G2 than by having a balloon carry it to the edges of our atmosphere and shoot both video and stills?  Neither can we and apparently LG agrees because that's just what it did in this promotional video above where we get to see some lovely imagery put to some overly dramatic music but the point is made.   The optical image stabilizer on the G2 works effectively, smoothing out those nasty winds in the stratosphere while taking some beaut...
