I just bought a Sprint LG G2 and activated it on Boost Mobile. Best Buy has them for $150.

I love this phone so far.  The only problem I have noticed with Lollipop is that a few Wi-Fi spots that still work with my S3 will not work with the G2.  They connect but do not have internet. The main spots that I use work fine.

I tried something that I read and it worked.

I connected to the spot.  Remembered the IP address.

Forgot the spot.  Put in the IP address as static.

It connects with internet.

A friend just got the G2. They would not activate it over the phone. He had to go to a Boost store.  They couldn't get it activated with data.  They ordered a Boost SIM to replace the Sprint SIM.

Mine got activated over the phone 2 months ago with only a little guff from the rep.

What is up with this? We both bought Sprint G2 from Best Buy.
