« on: June 25, 2017, 04:59:05 AM »
Hi

I am new ti the forums, but I hope someone can help me .  I have a T model G4 rooted with genysis rom lp version 2.2 on it.

I have been following progress on twrp in fish (://forum.xda-developers.com) but I cant connect my device to FWUL in order to run the command in op.

My G4 isnt connecting & im unsure where to go from here. Im not familiar with linux or how fastboot works on it

Has anyone successfully installad twrp in fish on there G4 & if so, can u help me get twrp on my device. Thx.

Ok so im in terminal emulation. My folder with the ./sh installer is in the root directory of internal storage - what command do I use to access "fish" ?

I'm using "cd /sdcard/fish/ but terminal won't open dir .. 😖

Ok so here is how i did it!

I download twrp in FIsH 4.2 & extract it to root of internal storage

Then i proceed to download terminal emu free version

I enter command ;

"cd sdcard/android_FIsH"
"su"
"sh ./install.sh"

😄 I now hv an working TWRP . but doesnt add much functionality atm. U can make a back up, but u can't install rom or kernel, recovery..

Hope this helps someone. 😄✌
