LG is once again expanding their G2 family with their latest announcement of the G2 Mini.  Meant to compete with the 'mini' versions of other flagship phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Sony Xperia Z1 Mini and others, LG's little guy contains mid-range specs in a decidedly more portable package than its big brother, the G2.  Specs include a 4.7 inch 960 x 540 resolution display, either a Snapdragon 400 or Nvidia Tegra 4i processor depending on country, 2440mAh battery, 8MP or 13MP rear and 1MP front cameras (depending on country), 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage that can be added to with the MicroSD card slot.   the G2 Mini will also come preloaded with Android 4.4 KitKat.  Certain markets will also have an LTE model.  The design of the G2 Mini mimics its' big brother as can be seen in the photo above.  The G2 mini will start rolling out in Russia and then hit other territories such as the middle east, latin america, asia and europe.  No word yet on when it'll hit the U.S.  Full press release at the link below.
