While there was tons of excitement when the LG G2 was introduced last week one thing that wasn't clear was just when we could expect LG's new superphone to become available.  Well we've got some clarity now.  First up will be big red, Verizon which will launch the G2 for $199 on a 2 year contract on September 12th.  Continuing the party we've got AT&T which will launch its version on September 13th, also at $199 on a 2 yr contract.  Finally, T-Mobile will have their model available on September 18th online and the 25th in stores and yep...you guessed it...$199 on a 2 yr contract. We've got press releases for all three carriers below.  We expect to hear availability from other carriers soon.

LG And Verizon Wireless Launch Next-Generation Powerhouse, LG G2 Smartphone

Breakthrough Rear-Key Design, Intelligent Features And Powerful Software Make LG G2 The Ultimate Smartphone For Conquering Life’s Everyday Challenges

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Sept. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ – LG Electronics USA and Verizon Wireless today announced the official U.S. launch of the LG G2, LG’s latest flagship smartphone as part of LG’s newly branded “G” series of premium devices and the first U.S. smartphone to launch with the new Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 800 processor.

Available through Verizon Wireless beginning on Sept. 12 for $199.99 with a new two-year contract, the LG G2 blends an intuitive rear-key design with intelligent features and powerful software to create an exceptional user experience ideal for taking mobile multi-tasking to the next level.

“The smartphone is our constant companion, our go-to for entertainment, organization, communication and capturing memories,” said James Fishler, senior vice president, marketing, LG Electronics USA. “With the G2, LG has taken into consideration all of these behaviors and used them to create an evolved mobile device that provides tangible user benefits truly designed for how people use their devices.”

The LG G2′s innovative design is a first of its kind. Eliminating the need for multiple navigation buttons, the LG G2 is equipped with a single refined rear key that serves as the command center for power and volume functions. The device’s sleek and super-slim body provides comfortable, one-hand gripping and its near-zero bezel delivers edge-to-edge viewing on an expansive 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display.

Sporting an impressive 13 megapixel Full HD camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), the LG G2 gives users the freedom to capture crystal clear images without having to pause photo-worthy moments already in motion. Powered by the industry’s most advanced mobile chipset, the Qualcomm®Snapdragon™ 800 Processor, the LG G2 goes beyond smartphone standards to deliver stunning performance, rich graphics and outstanding battery efficiency.

An intuitive LG G2 user experience gives consumers a wide selection of optimized software. With the “Knock On” feature, users can bring the LG G2 to life or set it to sleep mode by simply tapping the screen with their fingertip. The “Answer Me” feature automatically answers calls when the LG G2 is raised to one’s ear, reducing the number of missed calls caused by accidentally hitting a wrong button. The “Slide Aside” feature allows for faster, more efficient multi-tasking by giving users the ability seamlessly transition between open apps.
