Restoring the LG G2 to original
« on: April 16, 2014, 05:24:12 AM »
I have had the LG G2 for ten days and have decided to go back to my iPad 4s.

The main reason being Siri. I used that a great deal as my hands are not good. I like the ease of access for Siri and the greater options for its use.

My question is, how do I remove all of the contents that I have put on to the G2?

I will dispose of the G2 and need it to be in the condition that it was when I bought it, i.e complete with all the original apps etc.

Any suggestions please?.

Sorry that your G2 doesn't meet your needs but it's understandable.

To reset your G2 to factory status, first back up or copy off any data (pictures, music, etc.) that you may wish to save, and then:

Click the Settings icon (gear looking icon), Backup & Reset (in the "Personal" section), then Factory Data Reset.

Follow the prompts from there and it will restore from a factory image contained in a protected partition.

No need to uninstall apps or delete files that you don't want first.

Thank you Klotar and goodbye.

That was excellent.

I'd also like to thank you for the help given during my learning curve with the LG G2, I'm sure it is a great item, but unfortunately its not for me.

Thanks again.
