Photo review in Camera
« on: October 14, 2013, 01:55:45 PM »
Love the camera but one thing that's killing me is review....I've looked in the settings and there is no photo review. I have looked at YouTube videos about the camera and on the videos I do see that the camera settings have a photo review. Is it just me or anyone else have this issue? Right now the only way to review my pix is hitting the photo square at bottom after I take pic...I'm so used to the photo I took to sit there for a few seconds after so I can look at it, I can't do that right now...Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

According to the LG G2 manual (D803), all you get is a thumbnail preview in the corner after you have taken your shot.  That said, I suspect this is an Android 'feature' or change, as my Galaxy S3 does this also but used to display the pic full screen for a few seconds, which I think is what you are looking for.

Personally, I think I prefer to be able to take another photo immediately over reviewing the one I just took but that's personal preference.

The feature you are looking for is called "Auto Review".  It's in Advanced Settings in the camera application.

Update: Auto Review is in the D800 (ATT) manual but not the D803 (Canada) manual.  I haven't checked the manuals for any other carriers.
